A Memorial to the Very Reverend Michael Till and Tessa Till

Made possible by donations from his friends and family

Saturday March 23rd 7.30pm

Father Sean Father Sean Duggan is on the Faculty of the Golandsky Institute and specializes in the keyboard works of J.S. Bach. In 2000, the 250th anniversary of Bach's death, he performed the complete cycle of the composer’s keyboard works eight times the series "Bach On the Threshold of Hope." He holds an advanced degree in piano performance and a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans and was ordained to the priesthood. His concert-lecture exploring the links between music and spirituality ideally complements this Symposium and offers the perfect opportunity for delegates and guests to enjoy a unique performance at the start of Holy Week.

Michael Till The Very Reverend Michael Till worked closely with his daughter Sophie to create this Symposium until the time of his sudden death in December 2012. Formerly Chaplain, Dean and Fellow of Kings College Cambridge, Michael was also Archdeacon of Canterbury Cathedral and Dean of Winchester Cathedral and a passionate supporter of music and musicians. This concert is given in his memory and we are grateful to all those who have responded so positively to this initiative.
